TERMS AND CONDITIONS

PRICES

All prices on cyclecopenhagen.dk are stated in Danish kroner (DKK) and include 25% VAT. The price at the time of order is the one shown at checkout. Any shipping costs will be clearly stated before you complete your purchase. We reserve the right to make typographical and pricing errors, as well as for sold-out items.

PAYMENT

We accept MobilePay, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Payment is handled securely via Shopify Payments, and your card information is sent encrypted. The amount is charged when the order is placed.

DELIVERY

We offer the following delivery options in Denmark:

Standard: DKK 55 (3–5 business days). Free for orders over DKK 999.

Click & Collect: Free pick-up at the store at Blegdamsvej 40, 2200 Copenhagen N.

Local delivery: DKK 49 within 10 km of the store.

Bikes are delivered assembled and prepared by our workshop. You will receive a notification when your order is ready for pick-up or has been shipped.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

When purchasing from the webshop, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal according to the Consumer Contracts Act. Read the full terms and how to withdraw on the Returns & Refunds page.

RIGHT TO COMPLAIN

There is a 2-year right to complain under the Danish Sale of Goods Act for all items. This means that you can complain about defects and deficiencies that were present at the time of delivery and that appear within 2 years. The right to complain does not cover faults, wear and tear, or damage caused by incorrect use, lack of maintenance, or normal wear and tear (e.g., worn tires, brake pads, and chain). If you wish to complain, contact us at hej@cyclecopenhagen.dk or in the store. If the complaint is justified, we will refund reasonable shipping costs.

BICYCLE RENTAL

The following special conditions apply to bicycle rental:

The rental period is a minimum of 1 day and a maximum of 14 days.

A deposit will be charged in addition to the rental price: city bike DKK 200, electric bike DKK 500, cargo bike DKK 500. The deposit will be refunded when the bike is returned at the agreed time and in the same condition as when it was picked up.

The renter is responsible for the bicycle throughout the rental period, including in cases of theft and damage beyond normal wear and tear.

In case of late return, a fee equivalent to the rental price per commenced extra day may be charged.

The bike is picked up and returned at the store at Blegdamsvej 40, unless otherwise agreed.

CYCLE & CO CLUB

Membership of the Cycle & Co Club is free and provides a 10% discount on workshop labor. The discount applies only to workshop services and cannot be combined with other offers unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change club benefits with reasonable notice.

COMPLAINTS AND DISPUTES

If you wish to complain about a purchase, you can contact us at hej@cyclecopenhagen.dk. If we cannot find a solution, you can complain to Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, naevneneshus.dk. You can also use the EU Commission's online complaint portal: ec.europa.eu/odr. Please provide our email hej@cyclecopenhagen.dk when filing a complaint.
