WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When you shop or create an account with us, we process the information you provide to us: name, address, email, and phone number; order and payment information (card data itself is handled by our payment provider, not by us); information about your purchases, rental agreements, and workshop bookings; as well as any messages you send us. In addition, certain technical information is automatically collected via cookies, e.g., IP address and browser behavior. Please see our Cookie Policy.
PURPOSE AND LEGAL BASIS
We process your information to: fulfill and deliver your orders and rental agreements (performance of a contract, GDPR art. 6, para. 1, litra b); manage workshop bookings and customer accounts (contract); comply with the Danish Bookkeeping Act and other legislation (legal obligation, litra c); send newsletters and marketing if you have consented (consent, litra a); and improve the webshop and customer experience (legitimate interest, litra f).
RECIPIENTS OF INFORMATION
We only share information with parties who help us operate the store, including Shopify (webshop platform and payment), shipping and delivery partners, and our email and booking systems (e.g., IzyRent and Cowlendar). These act as data processors and may only process the information according to our instructions. Some providers may be located outside the EU/EEA; in such cases, the transfer is secured according to applicable regulations (e.g., the EU's standard contractual clauses).
STORAGE
We store your information for as long as necessary for the purpose. Information related to purchases is generally stored for 5 years after the end of the financial year, cf. the Danish Bookkeeping Act. Account information is deleted when you request it or when the account is inactive for a longer period.
YOUR RIGHTS
Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to: access the information we process about you; have incorrect information corrected; have information deleted; have processing restricted; object to processing; receive your information (data portability); and withdraw consent. COMPLAINT
You can complain about our processing of your personal data to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, datatilsynet.dk.
